The wait is over!
We have now opened up our CSA registration to everyone who is interested in becoming a member for the 2014 CSA season.
We are pleased to provide you with 2 convenient ways of purchasing your shares online. If you would like to purchase your share in full using a credit card go here. Please note that if you choose to pay with a credit card, the share prices reflect additional credit card fees.
If you prefer to pay by check or money order or are purchasing a share with your Food Stamp/SNAP benefits, go here.
We like to offer our members as many options as we can, so if you prefer downloading, completing and then mailing in your membership agreement, please go ahead and print out the attached membership agreement.
Please note that your share is not reserved until we receive your full payment or deposit as is applicable.

Have you checked your inbox lately? Truth be told, you should be just a little sick of us right about now, what with the Pick-Up schedules, the Volunteer Sign Ups, the Google Group invites, and the Newsletter. We promise this is going to calm down soon, but this past week may have felt a little overwhelming (for us, too!).
Wait…you haven’t heard from us? You haven’t gotten the Newsletter’s Orientation Edition? Haven’t received even one Google Group Invite? You don’t even know when you’re supposed to pick up your vegetables?
First, go check your spam filter. You may find us there, amid the numerous Free Socks For Life messages you’re probably right to ignore. If so, just check whatever box you need to check to un-filter us and all is well.
If you still don’t see any messages from us, chances are that somewhere along the line, we got your email address wrong. If you suspect that is the case, please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your correct information ASAP. We don’t want you to miss another email!
Don’t forget to bring your bags (at least one big bag, and I recommend a couple of smaller ones, too).

While there are no more egg shares available for the 2012 season, we still have fruit and flower shares available. Not to mention Veggie Shares. But the deadline is quickly approaching — sign up now!
We are very happy to offer the opportunity to order once a month from the Lewis Waite Farm again this year. The 250 acre Lewis Waite Farm raises 100% grass-fed beef and all natural, pastured pork. In addition, they contract over twenty other upstate and regional farms to deliver hundreds of sustainably raised and produced products packaged especially for you. All of our meat animals are anti-biotic and hormone free, and most are pasture raised. Every farm has humane handling practices, and treats the land with respect.
Some available products are: handmade organic bread, raw-milk cheeses, honey, jams, granola, chicken, duck, eggs, organic beans and grains, and all kinds of sustainably raised local meats. Members can visit www.csalewiswaitefarm.com to get a better sense of what Lewis Waite is all about. As the first Lewis Waite delivery nears, the extra shares coordinator will provide you with login information and instructions on how to order. Your order and payment is directly with the farms. West Harlem CSA just serves as the convenient pickup location.
